The Academy is all for bringing the theory of a classroom lesson to life with the addition of relevant practical activities by way of excursions and incursions. These activities are also encouraged to further cement the Academy culture of leadership, social responsibility and spiritual development.

Students attend regular excursions. Year 5, Year 7 and Year 9 students attend a compulsory camp. 

Example of excursions our students have attended are : Museums, Parliment House, Canberra trip, Zoo and Wilderness Parks, Theatrical shows. All excursions are covered in school fees, which includes bus transport to and from these locations.

Incursions are offered during class time.  These include visits from Authors, Inspirational speakers, Maths and sports programmes, artist and wellbeing clinics for older students. Parents are informed prior to these events.
